TLDR;

This past summer, I worked as a UX intern for Atlanta-based photography startup ShootProof. While I worked there, I worked on several new features using ShootProof's UX design process as well as creating a set of wireframe elements to drastically speed up the design process.

Below is a sample of the work I did that I can show. To see it all, head on over to ShootProof's website to check out everything I worked on in action! If you'd like to learn more about my time at ShootProof and how I got to final designs, feel free to ping me an email! If you're a professional photographer, maybe ShootProof is the right tool for you!

So what's Shootproof?

ShootProof is a web tool for professional photographers to manage their entire business from one place. From managing contacts and creating contracts to retouching and watermarking photos to sell to clients, Shootproof's been a total game-changer for tens of thousands of photographers in 38 countries.

PROJECT 1

Planning + Billing Redesign

One of my first projects at ShootProof was to redesign the Planning and Billing Page to better reflect the updated visualson the rest of the web app.

The original Planning and Billing Page was cluttered and visually overwhelming, making it difficult to identify a current plan and change to another one.

Lab Order Defaults Redesign

Another UX/UI project I was given at ShootProof was to redesign the flow and visuals of the Lab Order Defaults web app page. The original page caused clients to unintentionally authorize automatic lab order approvals, costing thousands of dollars needlessly.

JIRA

Above is a sample of the JIRA customer request tickets that I took into account when redesigning this page.

Design Team Wireframe + Flows Redesign

The old wireframes and annotations used at ShootProof did not properly relay information to the ShootProof design and users during testing. The visuals of the wireframes were conflicting and had too much contrast. My goal was to soften the visual design of the wireframes and adapt them to high fidelity visuals of the ShootProof app.

The new wireframes I created were done in an Axure RP8 library, giving the UX design team extremely quick and concise method of mocking up the web app in full size and mobile screens. Everything from buttons to forms to basic page components were accounted for in the Axure library.

I also made fullsize and mobile wireframe flows and annotations for the wireframe components. The new annotations were much softer on the eyes visually so that the wireframes could be the forefront of the design at hand.

Watermarks Page Redesign

I also redesigned the watermarks page in the ShootProod web app. The old page, below, had poor information architecture and did not properly reflect the information that needed to be conveyed to the user.
